All the way from Texas...

I had the opportunity to make some new friends today...this Texas family was so much fun. These were my first "indoor" photos so I was extremely nervous but I think they turned out great. Here are my favorites...

Merry Christmas...

Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays from my family to yours. We've been so blessed this year...my gift was the announcement that I will become a Grandmommie in late summer 2009. Life is so GOOD!

A First for Me

I had never seen a live bobcat until recently so I decided to share some pictures. It was really hard to get a good picture because of it's enclosure. I sure wouldn't want to meet one of these out in the woods at night!!! Just thought I would share these creepy pictures!

Baby Carlee is here...

Our family had a wonderful Thanksgiving because this little bundle of joy decided that we weren't having Thanksgiving without her! I took some pictures of her parents (see previous post) before her arrival so I couldn't wait to finally meet her. She is so precious and I can't wait to take lots more pictures of her over the years. Welcome Carlee...we love you so much.

Five Sisters

This family was so fun to photograph...they were naturals at knowing how to stack up in a picture. These are some of the best pictures I've ever done. Both shoots this weekend chose red and it turned out to be the perfect color.

Cold Afternoons at the Whitewater Center

This couple is getting ready for their baby boy to make his entrance into the world. He is actually due today!! But I wasn't worried because there's no way he would've decided to come yesterday as COLD as it was. They were troopers cause it was cold and windy but I think we got some good shots for them. Here's a few from yesterday...

This last one is my favorite and it was the very first picture I snapped of them...

My Greatest Fear...

Anyone that knows me...really knows me...knows that I am terrified by opossums...I HATE them...they make me physically sick. I don't even like dead opossums, which is why I was really surprised when I was able to get through taking these pictures without throwing up. Something has been killing my brown egg laying chickens (killed 12 last week) so traps were set and we've caught 4 huge raccoons, 2 wild cats, and this nasty opossum. The dogs loved it and I hated not to take some pictures. So I was certain you all would want to see how cute this thing was...lol. I'm sure that I'll have nightmares about it tonight.

Snow in the South in November?

I know...I couldn't believe it either. It's usually at least after Thanksgiving until we see this. I saw this and it took my breath away (picture does it no justice). This is my favorite place in the entire world.

Baby Carlee...hurry up!

My cousin and her husband are expecting their first child, a daughter, just any time now. We are all so excited since Rachel is the baby of our family. I shot some pics of them this afternoon. I was a little teary eyed after I got home and started looking at these...it's nice to see some things come full circle. They are so happy and excited...it gave me the warm fuzzies:) Here's some shots from today.

This is my favorite one...

SBCC

My parents are very involved with the Southern British Car Club and their big show was held today at the Chattanooga Choo Choo. They have a rubber bumper MGB that is totally restored and beautiful. My Dad really knows how to do it right...their car is immaculate. (see Candy Apple red MGB below) My Mom has a MGA that's in the process of being restored...when Dad got the MGA it was in boxes...literally in boxes. Here's some shots I took today...I have a thing for symbols and hood ornaments.

I've not taken a picture in almost ten days. That is crazy for me but I've had so much going on that my head feels like it's literally spinning. Here's a couple of pics from the first of the month. Again...I don't expect everyone to "get" my pictures...sometimes they only make sense to me and I've learned that is okay. So here...once again, another meaningless photo:)

This isn't really a great picture but I love it...taken at Big Bend area on the Hiwassee River

This is the smallest snail I've ever seen...it was so tiny I just had to photograph it.

Baby Addison...

I took this beautiful little girl's picture before she was even born. (see older post called Grace's Little Sister) She is so pretty. Here's a few shots from her session.
