My husband and I started out today and we were going to
Chatsworth to get chicken feed but we ended up riding around...up to
Ellijay...over to
Dahlonega...over to
Blairsville...up to Murphy...then back down to Benton to my mom's. We were in 3 different states and only gone a total of about 7 hours! We stopped at
Amicalola Falls State Park and walked to the falls. After returning home, I googled the falls and found out that they are the tallest falls east of the Mississippi and the name means "tumbling water" in Cherokee. They were beautiful but hard to photograph because of their size.
